Peripherals (Ethernet) Validation Engineer - Sr. Lead / Staff

Develop, execute, and maintain validation plans for Ethernet IP and SoC-level features across pre-silicon, emulation, and post-silicon environments.

Lead bring-up, debug, and root-cause analysis for complex cross-functional hardware, driver, and platform integration issues.

Ensure validation coverage for functional correctness, performance, power behavior, and production readiness of Ethernet and related subsystems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years hardware engineering experience, OR Master's with 2+ years, OR PhD with 1+ year experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Ethernet controllers, NIC architectures, PCIe, and high-speed connectivity IPs.

Proficiency in bare-metal and Linux driver development, strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills.

Experience with lab and debug tools such as Lauterbach TRACE32, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and traffic-generation equipment.

Experienced in SoC architecture and peripheral subsystems with strong hardware/software interaction understanding.

Capable of collaborating closely with IP architecture, design, and systems teams to translate validation requirements into test content.

Experience or exposure to automotive SoC development, automotive Ethernet, safety-aware validation, or automotive process requirements preferred.
