Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based electric vehicle and power-electronics products.
Support hardware bring-up, firmware integration, diagnostics, and product design validation including automated testing and issue resolution.
Collaborate with hardware, systems, and validation teams to ensure production-release readiness and support firmware quality processes.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer science, embedded systems, or related discipline.
At least 5 years of embedded firmware development experience in automotive, electric vehicle, industrial, power-electronics, or other high-reliability environments.
Strong programming skills in embedded C with working knowledge of C++; experience with bare-metal or real-time operating system firmware development.
Hands-on experience with embedded communication interfaces (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C), debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG), and firmware diagnostics, test modes, and automation support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in embedded firmware for electric vehicle or power-electronics domains, familiar with automotive or safety-critical software processes (e.g., MISRA C, ISO 26262).
Operates effectively in cross-disciplinary teams involving hardware, systems, and validation engineers with strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
Comfortable developing and automating firmware diagnostics, regression testing, and familiar with tools like Git, Python scripting, and Vector CANalyzer/CANoe for testing and validation.
