Design, develop, and execute test cases for XR software stack and related multimedia and connectivity technologies on Android, Linux, and Windows platforms.
Develop automation scripts and test applications using Python, C, and C++ to support testing and build automation systems for test execution and result parsing.
Analyze test results, create test environments using software and hardware tools, and contribute to improving customer experience on Qualcomm multimedia solutions across ARM-based chipsets.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years, or Master's degree with 1+ year, or PhD in related field.
1+ year experience in Software/System Test involving developing and automating test plans and/or tools (Source Code Control, Continuous Integration, Bug Tracking).
Experience testing applications on Windows, Linux, and Android platforms with strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS and scripting.
Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming; must be able to work from Qualcomm Bangalore office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in testing AR/VR technologies including 6DOF Tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, and WebXR, indicating domain expertise in immersive technologies.
Skilled in automation, test development, and cross-platform software testing with a technical focus on multimedia and connectivity technologies.
Familiar with game/3D app development frameworks like Unity and Unreal Engine coupled with understanding of video technologies and wireless transmission systems.
