About This Role
- Support, maintain, and improve CI/CD infrastructure and build systems used by engineering teams.
- Develop and enhance tools and scripts to simplify build and deployment workflows, reducing friction and improving reliability.
- Collaborate with platform and product teams to enhance developer experience and participate in on-call rotations for build system support.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to CI/CD or build systems.
- Hands-on development experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or Azure).
- Basic Linux knowledge and experience with version control using Git.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or npm with focus on build reliability and efficiency.
- Proficient in container technologies like Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts, indicating ability to handle containerized build environments.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally with platform teams and contribute to technical documentation and support processes.
