Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for Protection & Control product lines throughout the product lifecycle.
Perform board bring-up, firmware integration, hardware-software validation, and debugging on microcontroller and processor-based systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful firmware architecture, design, release, and post-release support including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Minimum Requirements
3 to 5 years of industry experience in embedded firmware development and validation.
Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
Proficiency in Embedded C programming and experience with microcontroller firmware development tools and debugging equipment (e.g., STM32CubeIDE, JTAG, Oscilloscopes).
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, Modbus) and ARM Cortex architectures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience owning firmware projects end-to-end including design, implementation, and post-release support in Protection & Control or similar embedded product domains.
Demonstrated capability integrating firmware with hardware including validation, debugging, and root cause analysis with high reliability and performance focus.
Familiar with embedded RTOS concepts, coding standards (MISRA-C preferred), version control, and collaborative development workflows suitable for regulated embedded systems.
