Dir, Software Engineering

Accountable for full-stack, end-to-end digital platforms and services powering Disney guest experiences across multiple domains, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Own end-to-end delivery including product management, software development, quality engineering, and site reliability engineering at the Bangalore site.

Lead and mature the Bangalore office culture, employee experience, daily operations, and serve as the senior on-site escalation point for Disney Experiences Technology.

Minimum 12 years of software engineering or technology leadership experience, including 5+ years managing senior managers in complex organizations.

Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary technology teams with end-to-end accountability for high-traffic consumer-facing platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Based in Bangalore, India with regular in-office presence and flexibility for time zones and periodic travel.

Experienced in leading multi-functional technology organizations spanning product, engineering, quality, and reliability with Agile delivery at scale.

Proven site or office leader with accountability for culture, operations, and cross-functional influencing in a matrixed, multi-time-zone environment.

Strong expertise in full-stack web platforms, content management, personalization, vendor negotiations, and experience scaling new office operations in India.
