Lead architecture, design, development, and maintenance of scalable Marketplace backend services and frontend frameworks enhancing seller and channel partner experiences.
Own application health monitoring, performance optimization, code quality, and ensure robust, maintainable microservices and APIs.
Mentor junior engineers, collaborate cross-functionally with product and UX/UI teams, and drive technical leadership and innovation within the Marketplace platform.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5 years of software engineering experience OR 7 years of software engineering experience without degree.
Proficiency in Microservices architecture, TypeScript, React, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, version control (Git), CI/CD, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud-native technologies (GCP/Azure), and DevOps practices.
Experience working on platform teams or building shared tools/frameworks; prior exposure to e-commerce or marketplace platforms required.
This role is based in Chennai office requiring daily onsite presence as primary mode of work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building large-scale distributed marketplace or e-commerce platforms with strong backend and frontend expertise.
Demonstrates strong technical leadership through architecture ownership, mentoring, code quality focus, and delivering complex projects independently.
Familiar with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and passionate about platform innovation and developer productivity tools.
