Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Workstation Patching Engineer

Lead enterprise-wide workstation patch management and vulnerability remediation initiatives using BigFix, MECM, Qualys, and PowerShell automation.

Investigate and resolve complex patching and system issues escalated by L1/L2 teams to ensure system stability and compliance.

Mentor junior team members, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, enforce security policies, and report on patch compliance and metrics.

8+ years’ experience in workstation patch management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance using BigFix, PowerShell scripting, and Qualys.

Strong expertise in Windows 10/11 OS patch deployment and troubleshooting including third-party software patching tools (e.g., PMPC, Ivanti).

Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell) and managing patch compliance in enterprise environments.

Work Experience Required: Minimum 8+ years in relevant patch management roles; Location: Bangalore; Role type: Hybrid; Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM (IST).

Technical leadership style focused on managing complex escalation points and mentoring junior associates in patching and compliance.

Strong domain knowledge in enterprise endpoint security and Windows workstation patching within regulated environments (preferably financial industry).

Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams across geographies with focus on compliance, automation, and operational excellence.
