Principal Engineer - Data path - HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 (Object Storage product development)

Lead design and development of software architectures across multiple platforms and teams for HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 object storage products.

Own end-to-end technical leadership including technology evaluation, integration planning, and ensuring adherence to performance and quality standards in significant engineering initiatives.

Coach and mentor junior developers, influence executive decisions, and drive best practices and operational excellence at team and organizational levels.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

15+ years of experience in product development, specifically in storage/system engineering.

Proven experience delivering first-version products in modern storage technologies including object, file, or cloud storage, with expertise in system programming (C/C++), multithreaded programming, and OS internals.

Work from office average 2 days/week (hybrid work model).

Extensive expertise in designing and developing software systems for large, complex storage solutions (object, file, or block storage).

Strong leadership ability to guide technical teams, influence cross-organizational decisions, and ensure architectural and quality standards are met.

Experience in data-path development, distributed systems, clustering, high availability, and performance tuning in enterprise storage environments.
