Lead the visual modernization and elevation of an existing Vue and PHP web application UI, including converting legacy jQuery pages to component-based Vue.
Design and implement modern, responsive, accessible, and performant front-end solutions within the existing application stack, maintaining existing behavior.
Partner closely with product management and UX to translate experience goals into scalable, high-quality front-end implementations, using AI-assisted development tools for efficiency and quality.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of web application development experience; 3+ years with cloud-native applications.
Expert-level proficiency in Vue 3, component-driven UI architecture, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS architecture, and front-end performance optimization.
Demonstrated usage of AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) in professional workflows.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand and work with unfamiliar legacy codebases; experience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with PHP-backed applications preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical leader comfortable with hands-on coding and architectural decisions focusing on front-end modernization in an established, live product environment.
Experienced in component-based front-end development integrating with backend services, emphasizing performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
Able to leverage AI-augmented development practices to optimize development velocity and quality, and collaborate effectively with UX and product teams to meet user experience goals.
