Software Engineer

Design and implement comprehensive test strategies across manual, automated, accessibility, security, performance, and scalability for new features on the Genesys Cloud Platform.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, UX, and Documentation teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Develop, maintain, and automate test cases to ensure reliability and stability using AI-assisted tools and manage testing pipelines with CI/CD integration.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in software test automation including designing test frameworks for scalable applications.

Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for object-oriented programming, REST API testing, UI testing tools (Playwright, Appium, Selenium), test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and version control (git).

Experience with AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding and testing efficiency.

Experienced quality engineer capable of holistic quality ownership beyond automation, including accessibility, security, and performance testing.

Comfortable working in a globally distributed, cross-functional team environment collaborating closely with multiple departments.

Proficient in integrating AI tooling within QA processes to innovate and stabilize test workflows in an enterprise cloud environment.
