Senior Principal Software Engineer

Own end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for Autodesk's data interoperability platform and connector SDKs, influencing engineering vision and best practices.

Lead and coordinate cross-team technical decisions, drive alignment on business outcomes, and provide technical leadership including writing production code and mentoring.

Manage incident responses, act as Product Owner when needed, and propose long-term technology strategies anticipating 2–5 year risks and opportunities.

10+ years of software development experience covering full product lifecycle.

Proven leadership delivering key business outcomes with ability to influence technical direction across teams and divisions without direct authority.

Strong experience designing and evolving SDKs, APIs, and platform capabilities consumed by multiple teams.

Experience building desktop application plugins/extensions integrated with cloud platforms and strong knowledge of build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and developer experience optimization.

Operates effectively as a technical leader across multiple teams and functional areas, balancing hands-on development with strategic influence.

Experienced in complex platform architecture related to data interoperability, SDK development, and cross-application connector toolkits.

Familiarity with CAD, BIM, 3D geometry domains, or similar AEC/manufacturing design tools software ecosystems (e.g., Autodesk products) is advantageous but not mandatory.
