Sr. Staff Engineer, Endpoint Security

Own end-to-end design, implementation, and operational excellence of client software for Netskope Cloud Security Endpoint Data Protection.

Set architectural direction for backend distribution APIs and services ensuring high availability, resiliency, and performance at scale.

Lead prioritization and execution of technical initiatives, champion engineering best practices including CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and mentor engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

10+ years experience building and operating highly available, distributed backend systems in production.

Strong proficiency in Golang for large-scale backend service development and experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and scaling.

Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, source control (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Jenkins), and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana).

Technical leader comfortable owning complex backend systems architecture and operational excellence at scale.

Experienced in collaborating with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Practices rigorous code quality, testing, and mentoring with a strategic approach to prioritize high-impact engineering efforts.
