Drive strategic development and growth of one or more scientific journals within the materials science and physics portfolio, collaborating with Editor-in-Chief.
Manage peer review process and make editorial decisions on manuscript submissions ensuring high ethical standards.
Represent the journals and Wiley at scientific conferences and through outreach activities, including travel to universities and research institutes.
Minimum Requirements
PhD in polymer science, materials science, chemistry, or an adjacent field with polymer experience.
Minimum of 2+ years post-PhD work experience in post-doctoral, industrial, academic, or publishing roles.
On-site presence required in Pune, Maharashtra OR Noida, U.P. in a hybrid work model.
Strong command of English and knowledge of scientific publishing, including peer review and commissioning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in scientific research and publishing in polymers/materials science with an excellent research background.
Has an established scientific network to engage authors, reviewers, and editorial board members to drive content acquisition.
Comfortable representing journals externally through conferences and outreach, with willingness to travel internationally.
