Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance legacy Java-based applications running in production.
Handle development, engineering, operational tasks including bug fixes, automation, DevOps, and on-call support within an Agile squad.
Drive architecture and design decisions, enforce standards, develop integrations/plugins, and share knowledge across squads and departments.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Springboot, and Microservices.
Strong understanding of HTTP/REST, TLS/SSL, authentication, authorization, and cybersecurity practices.
Experience with object-oriented programming, Spring Security, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
Work Experience Required: At least 6 years relevant experience explicitly expected; holding Java certifications (e.g., OCJP) is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building secure, scalable Java applications with strong emphasis on data security and privacy compliance.
Capable of leading architecture and design while coaching engineers through technical challenges and incidents.
Skilled in integrating multiple technologies including LDAP, JDBC, relational databases and observability tools (Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
