Engineering Manager, Accounting Products

Lead and manage engineering team responsible for the revenue subledger accounting system and related user-facing features to automate accrual accounting for Stripe customers.

Own technical and operational excellence in solving large scale data management system challenges and launching new product features.

Collaborate with product managers, customers, and other engineering teams to prioritize roadmap and integrate features across Stripe’s Revenue and Finance Automation organization.

Minimum 5+ years engineering management experience and 10+ years overall industry experience.

Proven ability to lead high-complexity teams working on multiple parallel high-impact projects.

Strong technical background with hands-on experience solving large scale technical problems.

Experience working cross-functionally and making rigorous decisions and tradeoffs.

Experienced managing teams in high-growth, complex technical environments, preferably in financial or SaaS domains.

Demonstrates ability to collaborate deeply with product and engineering stakeholders and own end-to-end product delivery.

Comfortable leading engineering initiatives involving distributed systems or big data processing at scale.
