Team Lead, Platform & Engineering

Lead DevOps, Platform Engineering and Environment Management teams to ensure availability, performance, security and resilience of business-critical application environments.

Drive automation, standardisation, and operational efficiency to improve platform reliability, scalability and reduce manual processes.

Manage incident response, problem resolution, release support, root cause analysis, and maintain platform lifecycle with emphasis on high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.

10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years leading Platform Engineering or DevOps teams in large enterprise environments.

Hands-on experience supporting complex applications/platforms on Microsoft Azure including Azure IaaS/PaaS, CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Availability for on-call support in a 24x7 roster including after hours and weekends.

Experienced leader capable of managing large platform engineering teams supporting complex, large-scale, 24x7 application environments.

Strong strategic focus on automation, process optimisation, and improving service quality and operational resilience.

Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Security, and Delivery to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
