Own and evolve enterprise-wide GitHub Copilot enablement focused on C/Pro*C workflows in Linux/Unix legacy environments with an emphasis on secure, governed adoption.
Design, maintain, and operationalize reusable prompt files, custom instructions, and guided workflows to improve developer productivity, quality, and security.
Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams to implement guardrails, measure AI-assisted development impact, and build supporting GenAI services on Azure.
Minimum Requirements
5–7 years of software engineering experience with strong engineering discipline including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot productization: designing and operating prompt files, custom instructions, and reusable agent workflows.
Practical experience with C and Pro*C in Linux/Unix environments including embedded SQL, build processes, shell scripting, and database interactions.
Familiarity with GitHub fundamentals (branching, PR workflows, GitHub Actions) and Azure fundamentals for deploying and securing services (App Service, Key Vault).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in maintaining and enhancing large legacy C/Pro*C codebases with deep understanding of build and runtime environments.
Skilled in driving AI-assisted developer tooling adoption within regulated or security-conscious enterprise environments.
Able to design measurable adoption strategies and secure guardrails integrating GitHub Copilot with enterprise security compliance and CI/CD pipelines.
