Own installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of MSSQL and PostgreSQL database servers ensuring availability, performance, and integrity.
Design, implement, and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security controls including high-availability and compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
Monitor and optimize database performance, execute tuning strategies, and support Azure SQL Database and related services with automation scripting for operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
3–4 years professional experience in database administration with MSSQL and PostgreSQL technologies (both mandatory).
Familiarity with platforms Windows and Linux, ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, JIRA, and cloud services Microsoft Azure.
Experience with database performance monitoring tools like Grafana and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience acceptable.

Experienced in managing complex database environments spanning on-premises and Azure cloud infrastructures with strong operational ownership.
Proficient in scripting automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline database administration and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skilled at collaborating cross-functionally with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to drive reliable deployments, migrations, and incident resolution.
