Lead and grow a distributed engineering team (~12-15 engineers) focused on the Enterprise Feature Store (EFS), a critical ML platform service powering Walmart US, Sam's Club, and International markets.
Own the EFS product roadmap working with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure delivery predictability and platform reliability (SLAs/SLOs) for a multi-customer ML platform.
Provide technical oversight across the full stack including SDKs, data pipelines, storage tiers, making scope, staffing, and architecture tradeoffs with senior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
14+ years of engineering management experience, including leadership of senior to staff-level engineers in platform/infrastructure contexts.
Experience managing distributed teams across US and India preferred.
Engineering degree required: B.E/B.Tech/MS in any stream (Computer Science preferred).
Strong technical skills in Java and/or Python; familiarity with big data frameworks like Apache Spark; knowledge of feature store or ML platform concepts; experience with distributed data stores such as Cassandra, BigTable, or similar.

Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing, distributed engineering teams with a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
Experienced in driving ML platform or feature store product delivery at scale in a large, multi-tenant environment (retail or e-commerce preferred).
Comfortable partnering across multiple technical and business teams to define roadmaps, make strategic tradeoffs, and operate in ambiguity using data-driven decision making.
