Own end-to-end development and design of modules within the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 Object Storage product.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies and outsourced development partners aligned with technology roadmap and business goals.
Ensure product quality by reviewing designs, driving best practices, and mitigating failure risks across teams and organization.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
6+ years experience in product development specifically in storage/system engineering involving modern storage technologies (Object/File/Cloud storage).
Strong system programming skills in C/C++ with in-depth knowledge of OS internals, multi-threaded programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Work location: Hybrid model requiring 2 days/week onsite at HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in early-stage (V1) product development and delivery in storage technologies focused on data path and large enterprise-class software.
Demonstrated ability to influence architecture and design decisions with business and technical acumen, including working with complex distributed systems, clustering, or storage protocols.
Hands-on expertise debugging and performance tuning in multi-threaded, clustered environments with knowledge in virtualization, replication, QoS, or de-duplication is a plus.
