Platform Engineer – Storage Product Platform Development

Lead end-to-end design, development, and technical leadership of next-generation storage product platforms within HPE's Hybrid Cloud business unit.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies and outsourced development partners aligned with technology roadmap and business goals.

Drive best practices, operational excellence, and mentor junior developers to improve product quality and team capabilities.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

10+ years experience in product development focusing on storage/system engineering, with proven delivery of V1 or early-stage storage products (object/file/cloud storage).

Strong proficiency in C/C++ with deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and OS internals.

Hybrid work model requiring approximately 2 days per week onsite at HPE office.

Experienced leader capable of managing multiple platforms and guiding technical decisions at executive and cross-organizational levels.

Strong background in complex software architecture for storage systems, including distributed systems, clustering, and performance tuning.

Proven innovator with a history of patents or deployed solutions and ability to communicate architecture and design effectively to diverse audiences.
