Release and Program Manager

Manage and coordinate maintenance release activities through the software development lifecycle for PLM engineering teams.

Plan, schedule, and control build, test, and deployment of software releases, ensuring risk mitigation and effective communication across integrated scrum teams and leadership.

Own release process governance, metrics tracking (dashboards), and lead release status review meetings with senior management.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

5-8 years in software development organizations with at least 4 years in program or project management role.

Proven working knowledge of Agile Scrum software development methodology.

Experience with release coordination and program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Qlik, Smartsheet, or MS Project.

Experienced program/release manager comfortable working across cross-functional Agile scrum teams in a software R&D environment.

Strong ability to independently lead release planning, risk management, and governance meetings involving senior management.

Data-driven decision maker, proficient with data interpretation and release performance metrics to optimize processes.
