Lead AI & Automation Developer

Own end-to-end automation and AI solution development to modernize legacy BASES reports and operational workflows.

Develop, deploy, and maintain Python-based automations and LLM-powered solutions integrated with existing systems ensuring quality, security, and scalability.

Partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, drive user adoption, and measure improvements in effort, cycle time, quality, and reliability.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.

5+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, data engineering, AI solutions, or related technical roles.

Strong proficiency in Python, LLM application development, REST API integration, and data processing with libraries like Pandas or Polars.

Experience deploying and supporting automation or AI solutions in production environments; working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and enterprise AI services.

Technically deep, product-minded developer with demonstrated ability to operate in legacy environments and develop reusable, scalable automation solutions.

Experienced in moving solutions from opportunity identification through production adoption, maintaining close partnerships with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

Pragmatic problem solver skilled at translating ambiguous business needs into practical technical outcomes with focus on reliability, supportability, and measurable business value.
