Lead a team of engineers responsible for Linux and VMWare initiator stack behavior and Fibre Channel and NIC drivers on Pure storage arrays.
Own development, maintenance, debugging, and optimization of Linux initiator stack including NVME, FC-SCSI, and iSCSI interfaces, as well as Fibre Channel SCSI target driver and NIC drivers.
Accountable for delivering compatibility documentation, resolving difficult bugs, performance optimization, and maintaining Linux kernels for internal testing.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years of development experience; typical candidates likely have 15+ years.
Strong experience in Linux/Unix device driver and kernel development, preferably storage and/or networking drivers.
Experience with storage protocols such as SCSI (FC-SCSI, iSCSI/FCP) and/or NVME Fabrics (NVME/ROCE, NVME/TCP, NVME/FC).
Experience with VMWare initiator stack, C/C++ and Python programming, debugging complex storage attach issues, and test automation.
