BXTI - VP - Sourcing and Operations

Manage end-to-end commercial and operational responsibilities for a portfolio of market data and information service vendors, from initial demand through contract renewal.

Negotiate vendor contracts including master data license agreements, subscription order forms, and statements of work, ensuring alignment with business usage and compliance requirements.

Identify cost savings through data entitlements rationalization, oversee high-volume contract renewals, and provide portfolio-level reporting and renewal recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA preferred but not mandatory.

10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with proven success in negotiating complex agreements, preferably in market data or financial information services.

Experience working with complex commercial and licensing terms for software and data vendors, including understanding of GDPR, DPAs, data privacy, and licensing obligations.

Proficiency with electronic procurement tools (e.g., Coupa) and Microsoft Office suite; strong project management skills handling multiple concurrent workstreams.

Experienced negotiator for large and sophisticated suppliers, able to lead complex vendor contract discussions independently, including sole-source providers.

Adept at collaborating cross-functionally with investment teams, legal, compliance, and technology stakeholders to align sourcing with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Skilled in managing high-volume contract cycles, driving savings initiatives, and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority in a matrix environment.
