Director - AI & Advance Analytics

Lead and manage the Applied AI delivery organization, accountable for converting AI and advanced analytics opportunities into high-quality, reliable delivery outcomes covering data science, machine learning, and generative AI.

Partner with US-based Enterprise AI Architecture teams to define and execute modern data and AI architectures, ensuring secure, scalable AI/ML and GenAI workloads within the bank.

Establish and enforce governance, security, Responsible AI practices, delivery discipline, and adoption across AI project lifecycles at First Citizens India.

Minimum 12+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Applied AI, Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or related fields.

At least 5+ years leading architecture teams, technology organizations, AI/data delivery teams, or transformation initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).

Work Experience Required: 12+ years related, 5+ years leadership; Location: Bangalore (Hybrid); Experience with AWS, Snowflake, AI platforms, and operations in regulated industries like banking/financial services.

Experienced strategic leader capable of aligning long-term AI architecture vision with practical delivery outcomes in a large regulated financial enterprise.

Strong collaborator and influencer adept at managing global, matrixed teams and communicating with senior stakeholders, including portfolio and product management.

Proven track record in building and scaling AI delivery capabilities, embedding governance and security practices while driving innovation in evolving build-phase environments.
