Design and develop safety-related automotive software including implementation, review, integration, and documentation of safety mechanisms and fault-handling logic.

Maintain requirements traceability, resolve safety anomalies, and support safety-impact analysis and controlled maintenance fixes.
Minimum Requirements
12 to 14 years of relevant work experience in embedded software development for automotive safety systems.
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
Proficient in Embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR/RTOS, debugging, and familiar with ISO 26262 Part 6 fundamentals, MISRA standards, unit testing, static analysis, and Automotive SPICE.
Experience with watchdogs, memory protection, communication monitoring, diagnostics, and requirements traceability; work location in TCI explicitly mentioned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level engineer with deep expertise in automotive functional safety software development under ISO 26262 standards.
Experience operating within stringent safety and quality processes such as Automotive SPICE, with advanced skills in fault injection, safety analysis, and certified functional-safety training (preferred).
Detail-oriented practitioner skilled in defensive programming, traceability management, and delivering production-ready code with comprehensive testing and documentation evidence.
