About This Role

Develop and maintain the AI agent backend with Python and FastAPI including database design and integration with internal and third-party APIs.

Build React/TypeScript user interfaces and manage production environments, including monitoring, incident handling, and improving AI performance and prompts.

Provide technical leadership by guiding 1–3 developers, making architecture decisions, and collaborating with leadership teams on product development.

Minimum Requirements

7+ years of professional software development experience.

1–2+ years experience building and supporting AI/LLM features in production.

Strong skills in Python, backend API development, PostgreSQL (design and tuning), React, and TypeScript.

Experience supporting production applications including monitoring, incident handling, and root cause analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Hands-on senior engineer comfortable coding daily while leading a small developer team.

Experienced with LLMs and AI features including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and handling AI-specific challenges like rate limits and incorrect responses.

Capable of making and communicating informed technical and architecture decisions to cross-functional leadership.
