Test Engineer - Performance QA

Own end-to-end performance testing for projects, including design, execution, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of performance tests (load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability).

Collaborate closely with architects, functional QA, developers, and DevOps to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, recommend tuning, and validate fixes.

Maintain all performance test artifacts and share best practices within the QA practice to support high-quality, reliable Guidewire solutions for P&C insurance customers.

5-8 years of overall software QA experience, with at least 3 years focused on performance testing of web or enterprise applications.

Hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool such as JMeter or Gatling; LoadRunner is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Experience Required: 5-8 years software QA with minimum 3 years in performance testing.

Experienced with performance testing tools and able to analyze performance metrics across application JVM, database, and infrastructure layers.

Experienced in mission-critical enterprise platforms, preferably Guidewire applications or similar large-scale platforms.

Comfortable working in distributed, cross-functional teams with exposure to cloud environments and Professional Services/customer-facing delivery.
