About This Role
- Provide production support and maintenance for RPGLE-based IBM i (AS/400) applications in a 24x7 environment.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Manage batch job scheduling, production deployments, incident and change management as per SLAs, including shift and on-call support.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in RPGLE production support.
- Strong knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) platform with RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, SQL, and Query/400 skills.
- Ability to work 5 days a week from office in Pune, Bangalore, or Noida with mandatory night shifts (10 PM to 6 AM) one week per month including weekends.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes; familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing production support in 24x7 environments with a focus on uptime and SLA adherence.
- Skilled in collaboration across development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Comfortable working under shift schedules including night shifts and handling high-pressure incident management situations.
