Provide production support and maintenance for RPGLE-based IBM i (AS/400) applications in a 24x7 environment.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Manage batch job scheduling, production deployments, incident and change management as per SLAs, including shift and on-call support.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in RPGLE production support.
Strong knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) platform with RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, SQL, and Query/400 skills.
Ability to work 5 days a week from office in Pune, Bangalore, or Noida with mandatory night shifts (10 PM to 6 AM) one week per month including weekends.
Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes; familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing production support in 24x7 environments with a focus on uptime and SLA adherence.
Skilled in collaboration across development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
Comfortable working under shift schedules including night shifts and handling high-pressure incident management situations.
