Staff Data Scientist - Growth & Expansion

Own customer growth outcome end-to-end across onboarding, activation, trial-to-paid, multi-product adoption, and expansion revenue, coordinating across Growth, GTM, Finance, and product teams.

Develop and maintain a canonical, segment-level growth measurement and causal inference framework based on governed, certified data for use company-wide.

Serve as a trusted analytical advisor to leadership, translating data into decision-grade guidance influencing roadmap and investment without direct authority.

9+ years in product/growth analytics, data science, or applied statistics with experience in activation, retention, conversion, and expansion.

Proven track record of building metric or value frameworks used by multiple teams to drive real business outcomes.

Strong applied statistics skills including causal inference and experiment design (A/B testing).

Strong SQL and Python proficiency; experience with Snowflake and dbt; ability to work with governed, imperfect data sources.

Experience operating in a B2B2C or SaaS environment with focus on growth, especially in land-and-expand or trial-to-paid motions.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams (Growth, GTM, Finance, Product) and align on shared growth metrics without direct authority.

Strategic thinker comfortable setting technical and analytical standards while handling complex, segmented customer-growth models and causal experiment analysis.
