Design, write, and execute manual and automated test plans for complex, distributed Java-based backend services and their integration points.
Validate asynchronous message-driven workflows and data replication pipelines for accuracy, error handling, and recovery scenarios.
Maintain automated regression suites and test environments mimicking production-like integration scenarios to ensure data consistency and defect resolution.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years of professional QA/test engineering experience with backend or integration systems testing (beyond just UI/manual testing).
Hands-on experience testing message-oriented middleware with asynchronous processing and failure condition validations.
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle preferred) and experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative QA/Dev workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Comfortable working on complex backend integrations involving message queues, event-driven architectures, and data synchronization.
Experienced in both manual and automated testing with ability to perform root-cause analysis on integration and data consistency issues.
Skilled in maintaining realistic test environments and automation suites that cover UI, API, and integration testing in a multi-system distributed setup.
