Design, develop, and verify HMI applications for FACTS PQ Control and Protection System based on Micro SCADA at the substation level.
Design and verify Hitachi RTU based Gateway solutions for various FACTS applications and support communication network design with documentation.
Configure engineering workstations, network devices (switches, GPS, KVM, GOOSE), perform system testing, and take ownership of KPIs like OTD and COPQ while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 4 years experience in substation automation engineering for station control systems using Micro SCADA X and Hitachi RTU communication gateways.
Knowledge of industrial data transfer protocols including IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC101/104, OPC UA, and engineering tool IET600 along with SCIL coding.
Work Experience Required: At least 4 years in relevant substation automation engineering roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with configuration of HMI database, animation concepts, and logic development for complex substation control systems.
Familiar with industry-standard communication protocols, vendor relay configuration (SEL, HITACHI, GE), and engineering tools related to substation automation.
Capable of independently managing end-to-end development and testing of SCADA/HMI applications with responsibility for meeting quality metrics and compliance.
