Vice President - Technology Product Owner

Own and prioritize the product backlog for Controls Technology risk and control systems ensuring readiness for at least two sprints ahead.

Translate complex business requirements into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to drive sprint execution and quality delivery.

Act as liaison between business, engineering, UX, and stakeholders; lead agile ceremonies and continuously mitigate risks to ensure seamless, compliant software delivery.

8+ years in technology roles within financial services, with 5+ years as a dedicated Product Owner in Agile/Scrum.

Proven domain expertise in Risk and Controls, Operational Risk, or Regulatory functions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent; MBA is a plus.

Experience managing product backlog, writing user stories, leading agile ceremonies, and strong technical fluency to interface with engineering teams.

Experienced Product Owner used to execution-focused, detail-oriented backlog management in a regulated financial environment.

Strong collaborator able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders including engineering, UX, and business users.

Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve requirements documentation and risk identification in a complex product environment.
