Job Description

Design and develop scalable data architectures and ETL pipelines to process and analyze clinical and nonclinical data for improved understanding of clinical therapies.
Establish and maintain Data Quality, Governance, and Master Data Management practices to ensure clean and accurate data across systems.
Lead and mentor data engineering team members, prototype new AI-based approaches for clinical trial data processing, and maintain multiple production data systems.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus 7 years of technical experience with last ~4 years in Data Engineering OR 10+ years technical experience with last ~5 years in Data Engineering.
Fluency in Python and experience with multiple data formats (CSV, JSON, XML, HTML, SQL tables).
Deep understanding of modern RDBMS concepts and SQL syntax; experience with at least one modern RDBMS.
Experience in software development lifecycle, ability to design data warehouses using dimensional modeling principles, and familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and maintaining data pipelines and warehouses within regulated clinical research environments (CRO experience preferred).
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications while engaging multiple internal stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with leadership skills to improve team productivity and implement innovative AI-driven data solutions supporting clinical trials.
