Manage and support the enterprise Event Management platform including onboarding new event sources and maintaining event quality.
Collaborate with multiple teams to define event processing rules, validate event data, and ensure operational readiness for monitoring initiatives.
Monitor platform health, perform maintenance, troubleshoot event flow issues, and assist with incident response and platform upgrades.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years supporting enterprise IT operations, monitoring, event management, or observability platforms.
Proficiency with Linux and Windows OS, scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or REST APIs).
Experience with incident management, change management, and production support processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cross-team collaboration involving monitoring, infrastructure, application, and platform engineering teams.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities focused on event management and operational reliability.
Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms, with preference for candidates experienced with IBM Netcool/OMNIbus and ServiceNow Incident Management.
