Design, implement, and manage non-relational database systems on Google Cloud Platform, including Mongo, Firestore, Bigtable, Memorystore, and Neo4j.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, set up monitoring and alerting with Dynatrace, and optimize cloud resource costs.
Support database migrations, performance tuning, security best practices, and developer enablement tooling with CI/CD pipelines and observability dashboards.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Minimum 7 years overall IT experience with at least 3 years in database administration or engineering.
Strong expertise in GCP non-relational databases (Mongo Atlas, Neo4j AuraDB, Firestore, Bigtable, Memorystore for Redis/Valkey).
Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Dynatrace), and GCP services including Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with building production-grade infrastructure as code and automated deployment pipelines in cloud environments.
Skilled in observability, SRE principles including SLOs and error budgets, and cost optimization strategies on GCP.
Capable of architecting high availability and disaster recovery solutions for NoSQL databases, and supporting developer enablement with internal tooling.
