Develop and maintain a low-latency, event-driven, cloud-native platform for real-time index calculation and distribution across multiple asset classes.
Own production quality aspects including infrastructure review, security validation, observability, and operational guardrails in a horizontally scalable, always-on environment.
Lead through architectural clarity, code review, test strategy, and delivery while collaborating with product, operations, and client teams.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 9 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Java and cloud-native AWS application development with infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent).
Experience with low-latency, event-driven system design and relational data modelling.
Position location: Bengaluru, hybrid work with 3 days per week onsite.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technically proficient individual contributor with leadership demonstrated via architectural decisions and code quality ownership.
Experienced in building resilient, scalable distributed systems and integrating AI development tooling to accelerate quality software delivery.
Familiarity with financial services or capital markets, especially real-time index calculation, is advantageous but not mandatory.
