Drive data quality strategy, architecture, and automation to ensure reliability of large-scale data platforms.
Design and implement automated testing frameworks for batch and streaming data pipelines, and establish quality standards including monitoring and CI/CD practices.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, reviewing code, and leading quality initiatives to improve data accuracy and system scalability.
Minimum Requirements
Strong experience in Data Quality Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Testing.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data validation.
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, or similar data platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven ability to build and scale automated data testing frameworks with a focus on automation-first approaches.
Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers in a cross-functional Agile environment.
Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems such as AWS and data quality tools like Great Expectations or Deequ.
