Google Cloud Non-Relational Database Engineer

Design, implement, and manage non-relational database systems on Google Cloud Platform using services like Mongo, Firestore, Bigtable, Memorystore, and Neo4j.

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, create CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud cost and performance using tools like Dynatrace.

Ensure data security and compliance via IAM roles, Workload Identity, and organization policies while implementing observability and reliability measures including SLOs, error budgets, and monitoring.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, IT, or related field.

Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years in database administration or engineering.

Strong expertise in GCP non-relational databases including Mongo Atlas, Neo4j AuraDB, Firestore, Bigtable, Memorystore for Redis and Valkey.

Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace; knowledge of Cloud Run and Cloud Functions preferred.

Experienced in architecting high availability and disaster recovery solutions for NoSQL databases within cloud-native environments.

Comfortable managing complete database life cycle including migration, data modeling, performance tuning, and security on GCP.

Able to build developer enablement tools and documentation to support application teams while enforcing compliance and governance.
