About This Role
- Own and execute small to medium site reliability engineering projects independently within a major financial institution's Commercial Investment Bank team.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, maintainable code to solve business problems enhancing system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident triage processes, leveraging enterprise-authorized AI tools for operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years applied experience with formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) and experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and telemetry tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and CICD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform.
- Work Experience Required: 2+ years site reliability engineering or related role experience explicitly mentioned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in implementing and improving service level objectives (SLOs), observability patterns, and auto-remediation in complex, enterprise-scale financial systems.
- Comfortable independently driving reliability improvements and applying AI-assisted operational tools with strong validation and security awareness.
- Skilled at troubleshooting networking issues and familiar with continuous integration/delivery pipelines and security-focused SDLC practices.
