Own and build back-end logic for user trial initiation, lifecycle management, and eligibility rules affecting revenue-critical onboarding flows.
Design and maintain entitlement and gating logic behind upgrade paywalls ensuring proper synchronization of user access with actual plan and subscription state.
Coordinate with Billing team on API contracts for subscription and licensing data; maintain secure, testable services tracking onboarding and activation progress with no silent failures.
Minimum Requirements
6-10 years of back-end software engineering experience.
Strong experience with C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) preferred; Java, Kotlin, Go acceptable with willingness to ramp onto .NET.
Experience handling correctness-critical state and event logic in systems impacting user access or payment; adherence to payment-security and privacy standards.
Strong SQL skills and experience making backwards-compatible database schema changes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working on subscription, trial, or entitlement/feature-gating systems with integration across distributed teams.
Ability to drive complex, correctness-sensitive backend services independently and collaborate asynchronously across time zones.
Familiarity with feature flag rollouts and working in large, shared monorepos with high traffic and shared ownership.
