Manage full shipment lifecycle using Uber Freight’s Transportation Management System (TMS) including load planning, carrier coordination, expedited shipments, and exception management.
Ensure on-time shipment execution by proactively monitoring, resolving disruptions, and negotiating freight coverage and rates with carriers.
Analyze transportation activities to identify and implement cost-saving and service-improving initiatives aligned with customer transportation strategy.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related operational environment.
Minimum 1 year experience using Uber Freight’s Transportation Management System (TMS).
Location requirement: On-site role at Rural Hall, NC.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in coordinating expedited or time-sensitive shipments and working directly with carriers for freight coverage and rate negotiation.
Familiar with routing, consolidation, exception management, and shipment data accuracy using TMS.
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, operational roles requiring cross-functional collaboration and customer communication.
