Lead the Tax department's tax technology, data, and reporting capabilities to support compliance, reporting, and planning across global entities.
Serve as primary liaison between Tax and Finance Systems Architecture, translating tax policy into scalable data and reporting solutions, including governance and control frameworks.
Manage a team responsible for tax requirements governance, standards, and reporting pipelines; drive end-to-end program management and stakeholder communication for solution implementations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 8+ years experience spanning tax, finance systems, data/analytics, and/or technology delivery with global tax processes experience preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of people management experience and demonstrated program management expertise including roadmap, governance, and communication.
Role requires hybrid work with approximately 2 days/week onsite at HPE office, locations include Bangalore, India or Wroclaw, Poland.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated expertise in tax technology platforms (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, SAP tax) and translating tax policy into technical requirements and scalable solutions.
Strong cross-functional program and stakeholder management skills, able to lead complex governance and delivery without direct control of implementation teams.
Experience leading and developing teams focused on tax compliance enablement, data governance, and reporting standards within a regulated environment (e.g., SOX controls).
