Develop and optimize OLAP Data Models for both new and existing data systems to enhance performance and meet business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling efforts with business requirements and manage vendor and strategic partnerships related to data infrastructure.
Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, promoting innovation and continuous improvement within the team, and proactively communicate risks and outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
11-16 years of industry experience with at least 5 years specifically in Data Modeling.
Qualifications: BE, BTech, MTech, or MCA degree.
Proficiency in SQL, Enterprise Data Warehousing, database design (SQL and NoSQL), and experience with Shell Scripting, Python, or C++.
Experience with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Data Modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Cognos, OBIEE).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing complex data models within OLAP frameworks with a clear understanding of additive/non-additive measures and data granularity.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with a background that includes mentoring and driving technical teams.
Familiarity or experience with Big Data infrastructures, distributed data platforms, cloud environments, and capability to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
