Develop platform software for carrier-grade routing and switching products supporting 10G to 400G interfaces and platform infrastructure components like chassis, fabric, and optics.
Deliver product developments on JunOS or Junos Evolved architecture ensuring quality by collaborating with system and solution test teams.
Provide engineering support for critical customer escalations in collaboration with Juniper Technical Assistance Team.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's (BTech) or Master's (MTech) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years professional experience in relevant platform software development.
Strong proficiency in C, C++, device drivers, system bring-up, and FreeBSD/Linux internals.
Onsite work expectation; deep networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Ethernet, Routing, and hardware-level protocols such as PCIe, SPI, I2C, etc.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in platform software development for high-speed networking products (10G-400G) and embedded systems.
Ability to work across software development and customer support/escalations in complex network environments.
Strong technical skills covering software-hardware interface, debugging, and networking protocols indicating readiness for system-level platform challenges.
