Define and govern end-to-end technology solutions for Life and Funeral Insurance covering onboarding, policy administration, premium collection, servicing, and claims.
Provide architectural leadership and guidance across multiple agile teams ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Drive cloud-native, API-first, microservices, event-driven architectures with focus on integration, security, observability, and regulatory compliance in the insurance domain.
Minimum Requirements
5–10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, including 5+ years designing enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in Life and Funeral Insurance products and related integrations within regulated financial services environments.
Experience with cloud architecture (preferably AWS), microservices, event-driven systems, REST APIs, messaging technologies (Kafka, SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ), databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL), security frameworks (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, IAM), observability tools, CI/CD, and agile/SAFe methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep domain expertise in Life and Funeral Insurance and regulated financial services with hands-on experience in digital insurance platform architecture.
Proven ability to lead architecture across multiple agile delivery teams, engage with executive and technical stakeholders, and influence enterprise architecture strategy and governance.
Experience working in cloud-native environments with strong understanding of API-first, event-driven design, security-by-design, compliance, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps).
