Own end-to-end platform engineering strategy and technical governance for enterprise-wide Data Services and Reporting landscape, ensuring cohesive integration and rationalization of platforms globally.
Lead adoption of generative AI tools to accelerate software delivery, automate infrastructure, and enhance technical design quality across the data and reporting stack.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and enforce robust security, monitoring, and performance standards across platform engineering teams and production estate management.
Minimum Requirements
12-15+ years total engineering experience in software/platform engineering or data architecture in large-scale, regulated environments (preferably financial services).
5+ years in senior engineering leadership or principal architect roles with experience driving platform modernization and technical governance.
Hands-on advanced expertise in Java and enterprise Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA), plus strong experience with BI/reporting platforms and data federation concepts.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and governing high-scale distributed architectures integrating data storage, virtualization, APIs, and BI/reporting platforms in line with enterprise standards.
Hands-on with generative AI tools for software development acceleration and infrastructure automation within platform engineering.
Skilled at leading platform rationalization, improving operational efficiency by reducing technical debt, and enforcing unified semantic and security layers in global ecosystems.
