Own architecture and development of enterprise Java applications with focus on forensic systems supporting criminal investigations in multiple European countries.
Lead full lifecycle delivery including technical design, implementation, automation, and evolution of robust, scalable, and compliant forensic software solutions.
Provide technical guidance across distributed teams and collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture stakeholders to ensure high quality and operational alignment.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Bachelors or MCA).
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development on global or enterprise projects; 10+ years preferred.
Proven architecture and hands-on development experience with Java 11/17, Java EE/Jakarta EE, PostgreSQL, WildFly, Eclipse RCP/SWT.
Experience with DevOps practices including Git-based workflows, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven, and automated build and release processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in enterprise Java development within regulated or complex operational environments, ideally forensic or LIMS systems.
Able to lead distributed teams across multiple locations, ensuring knowledge transfer, collaboration, and alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Skilled in full-stack development and modularisation of legacy systems, with strong ability to balance architecture, coding, and operational performance tuning.
